WELCOME

Sequencing of viral genomes, including respiratory viruses such as SARS-CoV-2, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Influenza viruses, is now commonly performed in clinical laboratories. Thanks to numerous studies, correlation between genotypes and phenotypes is known, and sequences can be analyzed with algorithms to identify mutations associated with a reduced susceptibility to antiviral treatments or monoclonal antibodies.

The algorithms presented on this website have been compiled by clinical virologists who are part of a network on respiratory viruses within the French agency ANRS MIE (National Agency for AIDS Research – Emerging Infectious Diseases).

ALGORITHMS

These algorithms are designed to help physicians and virologists interpret viral sequences, as it can be challenging to keep up with the latest data. The algorithms are regularly updated, based on new, peer-reviewed scientific data.
